Montgomery County authorities Wednesday offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Luckenson Desrivieres, a former Norristown resident with ties to the Newark and Irvington area in New Jersey.

Desrivieres, 24, is wanted on murder charges for the brutal June 14 stabbing deaths of Marc W. Estiverne, 24, and Shamara Hill, 26, in the county seat.

“He should be considered armed and dangerous,” said District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman. “This is obviously someone who is not afraid of using violence.”

Anyone who might know of Desrivieres’ whereabouts should contact county detectives at 610-278-3368.

Estiverne and Desrivieres, both illegal immi___GRANTs from Haiti who were described as “best friends” by one witness, were living in a boarding house on the 1200 block of Arch Street in Norristown. Hill, who authorities identified as Estiverne’s Norristown girlfriend, would occasionally stay with Estiverne in his room. The killings, which were not discovered until last Sunday, took place at the boarding house.

Authorities did not offer a motive for the dual killings. However, they do not believe it had anything to do with Estiverne’s relationship with Hill.

One witness told authorities that Desrivieres had said several weeks prior to the slayings that he intended to rob Estiverne and “take care of him permanently.”
